ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning difficulties are a growing problem for adults
and children today. The concern of using drugs, whether prescribed by doctors or self
medicated with alcohol or street drugs, is a problem. Brain Integration is a drug free and
permanent way to correct the problem.
Why do I have learning difficulties? In the brain we have many areas that perform
specific tasks. Most tasks use several points in the left and right side of the brain. The
Corpus Callosum connects the left and right brain using millions of nerve fibers which can
be blocked or turned off.
In order to read this article, your eyes collect images and then send them to the brain.
The shapes of the letters are translated and sent to another area for the meaning. The
information then goes to short term memory. If it can stay there long enough it goes to
long term memory where we can retrieve it at a later date. In the case of certain people
one or more of these pathways has been turned off or blocked. From birth to about 5 years
old when we are developing our brain, an emotional event, such as a blow to the head or
trauma can shut down some of these pathways. Sometimes the pathway is shut down
completely but more often it has blocks. So in the example of reading, if there was a 90%
block between the translation and the meaning, a person would have extreme trouble
reading and pronouncing words. However, if the block was between the meaning and short
term memory, the person can read fluently but only remember 10% of what they read.
Brain Integration opens these pathways so learning is easy. If the pathways are blocked in
the hearing section, there would be a problem with memory of verbal instructions. There
are many different areas in the brain that can have difficulties other than reading. If the
block was in another area, the problem could be about math, spelling, poor concentration,
no sense of time, budgeting time, not understanding consequences, not being able to
focus, or pay attention. The worst effect is blaming them for not trying harder or not
being smart enough. Fortunately, these blockages or misrouting can generally be removed
or corrected by Brain Integration, thereby allowing the brain to function the way it was
intended.
ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) is not a deficit of attention. The person actually notices
too much. While Mr. Smith is talking to them, they see in their peripheral vision Julie
twirling her hair, a bird fly by the window, they hear the clock tick and have to look at it,
Tom coughs and have to look at him, another bird flies by the window, and they see a red
car drive down the street. This all happens in 5 seconds; imagine what an hour or a day
would be like. Now try to pay attention to what Mr. Smith was saying while all of this was
going on. Brain Integration opens a subconscious pathway that judges whether the
distractions are a threat to their lives or something important; if not, it keeps them
focused on their task.
If you ask someone to do a particular subject or task, and the answer is “no, I don’t like
to do that”, or “it‘s boring.” Then the brain is finding the subject or task too difficult to
process, and therefore not fun. When they are forced to continue they become hostel and
act up. If the pathways are opened the subject will become easier and more enjoyable.
There is an assessment that will let us know what needs correcting and how long it will
take to correct. It is the same assessment for ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning
difficulties. Combinations of what needs to be corrected are different for each person. The
assessment takes one hour. At that time an estimate can be given for the length of Brain
Integration. Most people require 8 to 16 hours.
People with more severe mental problems may have a combination of brain damage and
pathways that are blocked or have been turned off. Brain Integration can not fix the brain
damage but when the blocks are removed or the pathways are turned on, the brain can
compensate for the brain damage and show wide range of improvement.
Brain Integration is a cutting-edge technique based on principles of Applied Physiology
that assesses and corrects learning difficulties in children and adults. Muscle monitoring
(an Applied Physiological technique which determines whether a muscle resists downward
pressure) is used as a biofeedback tool to reveal whether specific pathways in the brain are
blocked or turned off. The work is done lying on a massage table, fully clothed. Most
people find the experience relaxing.
An increase in learning ability, mental performance, emotional stability, creativity,
physical coordination, and relief or elimination of brain related symptoms such as ADD &
ADHD, are just some of the benefits of Brain Integration. This work is best done in
conjunction with teachers, tutors, psychologists and health professionals.

“You have done miracles on my little brain. I am now so much more focused. I can read and understand. This has given me so much more confidence.” SB
“The improved driving alertness and lessened anxiety were very pleasant unexpected benefits.... as well as less overall anxiety.” Denise
“Tom got a 95% on his end of the year math final. Since he starting out the year with F’s I didn't think that was possible. You made us both very happy!” Debbie
“To get Johnny to do his homework used to be 3 hours of stress and arguments each night. After Brain Integration homework is only an hour and no attitudes. It’s a miracle!” Thanks, Cindy
